Reuters Business News: Costco May same-store sales rise 7 pct - MSN Money
Analysts on average were expecting it to report a gain of 5.4 percent according to a Reuters survey. Costco the largest U.S. warehouse club said total sales in the four weeks ended June 3 rose 11 percent to $5.14 billion.

Reuters Business News: Microsoft LG Elec agree licensing deal - MSN Money
Under the agreement LG can use Microsoft-patented technology in its products including Linux-based embedded devices while Microsoft will have access to LG’s patents and will license other patents developed by the Korean firm. Song Min-ho analyst at CJ Investment & Securities noted LG has patents that can be applied to Microsoft’s Xbox game console.
