The unit’s previous goal of doubling Chrysler sales outside North America from the current level of about 200 000 vehicles was “not acceptable” and should be ratcheted up the paper said quoting from an interview with Chrysler CEO Tom LaSorda. Alliances with other auto makers could cut the costs of that expansion the paper said citing LaSorda.

Reuters Business News: Apple Cisco extend negotiations on iPhone name - MSN Money
Cisco who made the announcement late on Thursday sued Apple for trademark infringement in January after Apple unveiled its long-awaited multimedia phone called the iPhone a name claimed by the network equipment maker. “Cisco has agreed to give Apple an extension until Wednesday February 21 ” Cisco said in a statement.

Prosecutors are also nearing charges against a former official of computer-security company McAfee Inc. the paper said citing people familiar with the situation. In addition a former executive of Engineered Support Systems Inc. a defense contractor now owned by DRS Technologies Inc. has been told of a likely charge the paper said citing a person close to the matter.
